Alex is 30 years old, a teacher, endearing, with little assertiveness and extremely domesticated. So much so that he even voluntarily vacates their shared apartment when his girlfriend Carolin begins an affair with Jens, the tough guy from the second floor. Dejected, he seeks comfort and refuge with his friend Nele, who knows how to save pandas but is struggling badly with her own relationships. It's a good thing he has a buddy like Okke, who is more than willing to train him to become a model macho man.
