To steal two valuable Fabergé eggs and thus pay off his debts to a powerful Russian gangster, he needs to recruit a partner. Gabriel Martin (Antonio Banderas) from Miami is just the right man for the job: young, hungry, daringly fearless, and at first completely uninterested in the offer. Until he meets Ripley's beautiful goddaughter Alexandra (Radha Mitchell) and finally takes the bait.
