The Pro version is primarily aimed at professional users and offers many additional functions. This makes it easier for you as an administrator of a large network or provides other tools.

New Look
The new interface is characterized primarily by rounded corners, transparent windows and floating elements ("Floating Design"). Menus and hint windows ("Flyouts") no longer "stick" to the taskbar, but appear slightly offset, see image.

Taskbar
The taskbar contains completely new icons, which for the first time in Windows appear centered at the bottom of the screen – but they can also be arranged left-aligned as usual. With the Windows 11 update, however, the taskbar loses some functions, see below.

Start Menu
The new Windows 11 Start menu now also appears in the center. It dispenses with the controversial Live Tiles and simply displays apps as icons – as on a smartphone. You can switch to the alphabetical list using the "All Apps" button and to the search by clicking in the search field. Below that, recently used files and programs appear, as well as the usual log-off and shut-down functions.

Icons
Windows 11 gets completely new system icons, for example in File Explorer.

Context Menus
Microsoft has removed rarely used functions from the context menu that appears when you right-click on an object and applied the new window design. This makes everything much clearer. You can show the previous, complete menu with the "Show more options" command.

System Sounds
After Microsoft deactivated the start sound in Windows 8 and 10, Windows 11 once again greets users with a smart sound. In addition, Windows 11 receives a completely new sound scheme with soft, subdued sounds.

New Touch Functions
Those who own a device with a touchscreen can look forward to the new tablet mode in Windows 11. This finally retains the familiar desktop feeling, but for example increases the spacing in the taskbar, provides additional touch gestures and an improved on-screen keyboard. This now finally allows you to insert emojis and GIFs directly while typing. The same applies to the so-called Emoji Picker, which appears with the key combination WIN + . (dot).

Windows Update
Windows 11 shows in the settings how long it takes to install available updates. Corresponding hints also appear in the Start menu when restarting or shutting down.
