Diane Blaine has the looks of a Hollywood star – unfortunately, the face of another, the famous Jamie Stephens! Diane can't find any roles – her reputation in Hollywood is and remains "you look like...", which increasingly frustrates her. Then her boyfriend Jack comes up with a crazy idea: a notorious mobster, to whom he owes a lot of money, desperately wants a date with Jamie Stephens, so he persuades his girlfriend Diane to meet the crazy mobster as Jamie and "eliminate" the debt in a single dinner.
