Everyone loves tough-guy teacher Zeki Müller (Elyas M'Barek), but he's annoyed by his new job at Goethe Comprehensive School: early mornings, defiant students, and constant grading! To top it all off, powerful principal Gerster (Katja Riemann) wants to outmaneuver the rival classical languages school and poach the Schillergymnasium's Thai partner school. Her dream: to boost the image of the Goethe Comprehensive School to become the flagship of the Ministry of Education's new campaign. Müller and Schnabelstedt (Karoline Herfurth) are condemned to a class trip to a coastal backwater in Thailand. In far-off Thailand, Chantal (Jella Haase), Zeynep (Gizem Emre), Danger (Max von der Groeben) & Co really get going and present a dazzling spectrum of social incompetence. And as if Zeki didn't already have enough to do with the wild teacher-student war, a merciless rivalry also erupts with the elite Schillergymnasium and its snobbish model teacher Hauke Wölki (Volker Bruch), who has only one goal: to end Müller's career.
